Safety Program

Safety is our priority

It is important to the company that all our employees feel safe when they come to work, and safely go home to their families at the end of the day.

Nascon operates under a ZERO TOLERANCE SAFETY PHILOSOPHY, based on the principle that all accidents and injuries are preventable. Each superintendent, foreman and employee has accountability for injury prevention through the application of basic safety principles.

The Zero Tolerance Safety Program means that if an accident or injury occurs, corrections are made through employee retraining, equipment or material usage, or changes in the applicable work process. As a result of this process, we are able to move forward using a continual improvement process.

The goal of the Nascon, Safety Awareness Program is to heighten awareness for safety at the project level and acknowledge projects that display and implement safety awareness.

·       We have a full time Safety, Quality and Training Manager to educate our employees for performing safe work practices on a daily basis.  Field foreman perform documented “toolbox discussions” both in the morning and after lunch for all working projects.  These toolbox discussions sometimes are the focal point of our monthly all hands safety meetings.
